The mfc cw has the dubious honor of being one of the slowest units we’ve tested. Other brother units we’ve tested the mfc cw and the mfc cw have performed similarly. The brother mfc cdw is a multifunction color laser printer copier scanner and fax machine with wired and wireless networking capabilities. It doesn’t come cheap but if you’re looking for a versatile machine that does its job well the mfc cdw is a worthwhile investment. The mfc dn delivers fast print speeds and just about every function you can think of for an aio.
The bottom line brother’s mfc covers the bases and is easy to use but it’s a weak choice for scanning. Our one serious complaint about the brother mfc is its lousy scan quality especially on color documents.
